Visual Arts Education (Aligned with NEP 2020)

At our school, Art Education is a vital part of holistic development. In alignment with NEP 2020, we view art as a dynamic medium that nurtures creativity, critical thinking, emotional expression, and innovation.

Curriculum Structure – Age Appropriate Learning

Foundational Stage (Pre Primary – Grade 2)

Play-based and sensory art activities such as drawing, coloring, clay modeling, and craft help develop fine motor skills, imagination, and joyful learning.

Preparatory Stage (Grade 3 – 5)

Students build foundational skills through structured drawing, craft, poster-making, and interdisciplinary art-integrated projects that enhance observation and creativity.

Middle Stage (Grade 6 – 8)

Learners explore advanced techniques like shading, perspective, still life, landscapes, and Indian folk art, along with project-based and theme-based learning to develop analytical and cultural understanding.

Secondary & Senior Secondary (Grade 9 – 12)

Art becomes skill-oriented and concept-driven, focusing on composition, design, portfolio development, and creative research. Students are guided for board examinations and future careers in Fine Arts, Design, Architecture, Fashion, Animation, and more.
