Special educators and teachers work together annually using co-teaching strategies to support students in inclusive classrooms. This involves joint lesson planning and delivery, differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs, and ongoing communication and collaboration between teachers throughout the year.
Each year, the curriculum and learning environments are designed to be accessible and effective for all students. This involves offering multiple means of representation (e.g., text, audio, video), allowing multiple means of expression (e.g., writing, speaking, drawing), and providing multiple means of engagement (e.g., choices, interests, self-regulation).
