On January 11, 2025, Shalom Presidency School, in collaboration with Project CACA, organised an awareness session for the school support staff on the POCSO Act and its vital role in safeguarding children. Conducted by psychologist Ms. Anshu Priya, the session used real-life examples and interactive role-play to help participants understand how to identify signs of abuse, respond with sensitivity, and report incidents while ensuring confidentiality.

The discussion highlighted the crucial responsibility each individual holds in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for children. Staff members actively participated, clarified doubts, and expressed greater confidence in handling sensitive situations with empathy and care. The session reinforced the school’s steadfast commitment to a zero-tolerance policy towards child abuse and strengthened the collective resolve to protect every child.
