Technology tools are utilised annually to support the learning and communication needs of students with disabilities. This includes providing devices such as tablets, communication boards, and adaptive software, training students and staff on the effective use of assistive technologies, and integrating technology into daily classroom activities.
Parent Counselling Sessions: The school holds regular parent meetings and counseling sessions, where parents obtain guidance to support or work on their children’s emotional and academic needs. The chief objective of the Workshop was to enable and empower the parents to face any challenge, which they might face in their day-to-day life while dealing with children and their concerns.
My Wellbeing Plan:
Safeguarding the physical and psychological well-being of our children is vital in today's circumstances and providing convenient access to mental health services and support within schools is the initial imperative. Echoing the same thought process, an interactive session on ‘My Wellbeing Plan’ for senior students by the school Counsellor to empower the children to manage their emotional well-being effectively.
The series of sessions aim to explain that well-being includes good physical and mental health and a virtuous quality of life. Students are made aware of Self-management strategies like maintaining a routine, incorporating various activities, journaling, practicing mindfulness, building empathy, and sorting thoughts on being rational. Students were motivated to reach out to the counsellor for any emotional support they needed at any point in time.
