Shalom Presidency School commemorated Republic Day on 26 January 2026 with great pride, patriotism, and reverence. The celebration commenced with a dignified flag hoisting ceremony, led by the Principal, Heads of Departments, and Student Council members, symbolising leadership, responsibility, and respect for the nation.

The active involvement of student leaders reflected the promise of a progressive and responsible generation. Teachers and staff assembled in unity to pay tribute to the Constitution of India and its guiding principles.

The occasion served as a meaningful reminder of the core democratic values of Justice, Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity, embodied by the national tricolour. The celebration fostered a spirit of national unity, civic awareness, and commitment, inspiring the school community to uphold the ideals of democracy and serve the nation with integrity.

Celebrating the Spirit of Christmas: Special Assembly

Shalom Presidency School organised a special Christmas Assembly on 24 December 2025 in the Conference Hall for students of Classes I to XII. The hall was beautifully adorned, creating a warm, joyful, and festive ambience that reflected the spirit of the season.

The assembly commenced with a prayer seeking blessings from the Almighty, followed by a shloka that set a calm and spiritual tone. The school choir then presented melodious Christmas carols, spreading cheer and devotion among the audience. A thoughtfully enacted skit highlighted the true essence of Christmas—love, kindness, sharing, and goodwill—while an energetic Christmas dance added vibrancy and enthusiasm to the celebration.

A key highlight of the assembly was the screening of a video capturing the inspiring journey of our revered founder, Dr Mrs Lilly George ma’am, including moments from her receiving the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. Students were deeply inspired and felt privileged to be guided by her vision and leadership.

The assembly concluded with an encouraging address by the Principal ma’am, followed by the School Song and the National Anthem, leaving everyone filled with joy, gratitude, and the true essence of Christmas.

Zumba for Wellness: Uniting Parents and Teachers

The school organised an energetic and well-planned Zumba session for parents and teachers on 27th December 2025, creating a lively and positive atmosphere on campus. The initiative aimed to promote physical fitness, mental well-being, and a balanced lifestyle within the school community. The session began with a warm-up and smoothly transitioned into vibrant Zumba routines set to upbeat music, ensuring enthusiastic participation throughout.

The activity offered a refreshing break from routine, helping participants relieve stress, improve coordination, and boost energy through rhythmic movements and collective engagement. Under the instructor’s guidance, parents and teachers participated with great enthusiasm, enjoying the perfect blend of fitness and fun. The encouraging and inclusive environment motivated even first-time participants to join in with confidence, making the session enjoyable for all age groups.

The overwhelming participation and positive response highlighted the success of the initiative. The session reinforced the school’s commitment to holistic development and wellness, emphasising the importance of regular physical activity. A Joyful Journey Through Childhood: Children’s Day at the Galaxy Wing

Children’s Day was celebrated with immense joy and enthusiasm in the Galaxy Wing, where the entire campus came alive with colourful décor, cheerful music, and the infectious excitement of our young learners.

The celebration began with a warm welcome and a short assembly in which teachers highlighted the significance of Children’s Day and remembered the legacy of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, whose affection for children continues to inspire this special occasion. The little ones also enjoyed a heartfelt prayer and lively rhymes that set the tone for the day.

Tech Trailblazers Shine at Technovation 2025

Shalom Presidency School enthusiastically participated in Technovation 2025, an online inter-school technology festival organised by SD Memorial School on 6 November 2025. The event provided a vibrant platform for young innovators to engage with digital creativity, coding, entrepreneurial thinking, and design-based problem-solving. Our students showcased exemplary talent across categories and brought laurels to the school with their outstanding performances.

In ScratchQuest, Anay Singh and Bhavy Singh of Grade V clinched the First Prize for their imaginative and well-structured Scratch project, which stood out for its smooth animation flow and originality. In DigiMag, Akshita and Aarohi of Grade IX secured the Second Prize for creating an aesthetically rich and thoughtfully designed digital magazine. The Grade XI team—Yashas Sharma, Tanmay Jain, Yug Rohilla, and Swastik Gulia—also earned the Second Prize in Techpreneur, impressing the judges with their innovative tech-based business proposal and compelling presentation.

CYBERMANIA 2025

Shalom Presidency School proudly participated in CyberMania 2025, an exhilarating inter- school technology fest held on 15 November 2025 at Blue Bells Model School, Sector 4, Gurugram. The event served as a vibrant hub for young tech innovators, bringing together brilliant minds from multiple schools and offering a dynamic platform to exhibit digital expertise, creative thinking, and problem-solving acumen.

Our students showcased remarkable talent in events such as IntelliApp Showcase and Cyber Tank, reflecting exceptional teamwork, innovation, and technical mastery. Adding glory to the school’s name, Gaurav Jaiswal and Asmita Akkannavar of Class XI secured the Third Prize in the IntelliApp Showcase for designing an impressive, user-friendly application. Equally commendable were Myra Kaur and Reyansh Kaura of Class IX, who earned the Third Prize in Cyber Tank with their sharp logical reasoning and strategic insight.

CyberMania 2025 proved to be an inspiring and enriching experience, empowering students with real-world technology exposure and fostering a spirit of creativity and collaboration. Manthan 2025: Ramayana Across Borders

Shalom Presidency School organised a grand and insightful presentation titled “Manthan” on 18 November 2025, led by the students of Grade VIII. The objective of this special event was to help students understand that the Indian epic Ramayana is not confined to India alone, but has significantly shaped the cultural, social, and moral fabric of many countries across Asia.

Through engaging performances, students beautifully showcased the diverse interpretations and influences of the Ramayana in the cultures of India, Nepal, Indonesia, Bali, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Thailand. They highlighted how the epic continues to live through dance, drama, painting, folklore, and religious traditions in these nations, binding multiple cultures with an invisible thread of shared heritage.

The presentation not only enriched the students’ literary and cultural understanding but also nurtured a global perspective, fostering values of harmony, respect, and collaboration.

Parents applauded the students’ research-oriented preparation, confidence, and presentation skills, calling the programme both inspiring and enlightening.

National Youth Parliament - 2025

Shalom Presidency School proudly organised the National Youth Parliament on 11th November 2025, providing an enriching platform for students of grades XI and XII to engage in democratic discourse and develop leadership qualities. The event aimed to nurture the values of democracy, citizenship, and responsible governance among young learners.

Students enthusiastically stepped into the roles of parliamentarians, ministers, and opposition leaders, deliberating on issues of national and social significance. Through insightful debates, structured discussions, and well-researched presentations, participants displayed remarkable confidence, clarity, and understanding of the parliamentary process.

Hindi Diwas Celebration - “From Heritage to Progress”

Shalom Presidency School celebrated Hindi Diwas with great enthusiasm and creativity on 10th November 2025. The celebration was led by students of Grades IX and XI, based on the theme “From Heritage to Progress.” The programme showcased the journey of the Hindi language — from its ancient traditions to the realm of modern literature.

Students presented a wide array of performances, including a street play, a podcast, and an innovative presentation titled “Pustakein Bol Uthi” (When Books Spoke), highlighting the richness of the Hindi language and the life and contributions of noted writer Dharmveer Bharti.

The event concluded with a lively rendition of the song “Mile Sur Mera Tumhara”, which beautifully captured the spirit of unity and pride in our mother tongue. The celebration instilled in students a deep sense of love, respect, and pride for the Hindi language, while reinforcing the values of national integration and cultural heritage.

Guru Nanak Jayanti

Shalom Presidency School celebrated Guru Nanak Jayanti on 4th November 2025 with devotion, joy, and a deep sense of reverence. Students from Grades II and VI came together to honour the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the revered founder of Sikhism, whose teachings inspire humanity with truth, compassion, equality, and selfless service.

The day began with a soulful Prabhat Pheri by Grade II students, followed by melodious recitations of Shabad Gurbani, creating an atmosphere of peace and spiritual harmony. Dressed in vibrant traditional attire, the young learners radiated enthusiasm as they shared Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s timeless messages.

Grade VI students conducted a special assembly in the Conference Hall, blending spirituality with awareness. Through prayer, a Sanskrit shloka, thought-provoking messages, and a graceful dance performance, they highlighted themes of mindfulness, unity, and compassion while also spreading awareness about natural disasters.

The programme concluded with the School Anthem and National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired to walk the path of righteousness, kindness, and humanity — the very essence of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings.

Alien Awakening: A Seasonal Journey at Shalom Presidency School

On November 8, 2025, Shalom Presidency School witnessed an extraordinary interplanetary experience during the Annual Assembly of Grade III, titled “Alien Awakening: A Seasonal Journey.” The school auditorium transformed into a vibrant space of music, colour, and cosmic curiosity — where imagination met learning in a truly spectacular way.

The event was held under the inspirational guidance of our Founder, Dr Lilly George. Under the encouraging mentorship of our Sherpa & Vice Chairman, Mr Dennis George, the programme came alive through a delightful narrative of friendship between humans and extraterrestrial visitors from the planet Georgia — a story that echoed harmony, empathy, and the importance of preserving our planet.

The Seasonal Journey (Performances)

Spring — Awakening of Colour (III A)

A lively celebration of rebirth and renewal, marked by blooming flowers and cheerful rhythms. The performance conveyed the joy and freshness of spring as perceived by the visiting aliens.

Summer — The Season of Sensation (III E)

A radiant depiction of warmth, sunshine, and joyful discoveries, complete with the aliens’ first beach adventure and playful summer scenes.

Rainy Season — A Symphony of Showers (III C)

A refreshing portrayal of nature’s rejuvenation, capturing the beauty of rain, playful puddles, and the scent of wet earth — all interpreted through dance and sound.

Winter — The Season of Stillness (III D)

A serene dance symbolising calm, reflection, and the quiet beauty of snow-clad landscapes. The section emphasised stillness and peaceful togetherness.

Message & Finale

As the narrative concluded, the visiting aliens left behind a thought-provoking message:

"Your planet breathes in seasons. Let it breathe freely, and you shall thrive together."

The grand finale brought all performers on stage in a magnificent display of joy and unity. The event beautifully blended imagination with environmental consciousness, leaving the audience inspired and in awe of the young Shalomites’ talent and teamwork.

BEHES 2025 – South Delhi Round

The BEHES 2025 South Delhi Round was held at The Heritage School, Vasant Kunj, on 7th and 8th November 2025. The event witnessed participation from 360 students forming 120 teams across Delhi-NCR. Students of Shalom Presidency School participated with remarkable confidence and oratory finesse in this prestigious debating championship, with 20 teams representing the school and delivering commendable performances.

The event witnessed outstanding achievements, with Ayaan Sharma (Rank 5), Kolaambi Bhattacharya (Rank 9), and Pankhudi Mittal (Rank 10) among the Top 10 Debaters. Shalomites bagged gold, silver, and bronze medals across categories, and 10 teams qualified for the Nationals (Maha Behes).

The competition not only celebrated debating excellence but also reinforced teamwork, confidence, and critical thinking among students.

Celebrating the Festival of Lights: Diwali Assembly at Shalom Presidency School

Shalom Presidency School marked the joyous occasion of Diwali with a special assembly conducted by the students of Grade XI on 15th October 2025 in the school auditorium. The assembly celebrated the essence of our rich cultural heritage, highlighting unity, discipline, and teamwork. The program commenced with a soulful recitation of the Prayer and Shloka, followed by the thought of the day shared in both English and Hindi. Students presented the latest news updates and delivered an inspiring speech reflecting on the significance of the festival. The assembly featured a theatrical enactment of the Ramayan, accompanied by a vibrant dance performance, capturing the imagination of the audience. Students also presented a Nukkad Natak, spreading awareness about celebrating an eco-friendly Diwali. The event concluded with the felicitation of the ‘Frontline Reporting: Meeting the Challenges of Journalism’ initiative, followed by the Shalom Anthem, the National Anthem, and a motivating message from the Headmistress. The celebration was a true reflection of creativity, learning, and cultural pride, leaving everyone enriched and inspired.

Shalomites Shine at the Haryana State Roll Ball Championship

We are delighted to share that our talented young Shalomites showcased remarkable skill and sportsmanship at the Under-14 Haryana State Roll Ball Championship, held on 20th and 21st September 2025 in Sonipat, Haryana.

Their hard work and determination paid off as they brought laurels to the school by winning Gold and Silver Medals across categories.

How One Sees: Workshop on Videography and Photography

Shalom Presidency School continually endeavours to provide enriching learning experiences that empower students to broaden their horizons and deepen their understanding of the world.

This vision is nourished by the guidance of our Founder,

In line with this vision, on 6th October 2025, the school auditorium hosted a special workshop titled How One Sees on videography and photography, exclusively organised for the members of Promo Pioneers – the Media and Marketing Society. Conducted by Mr. Manan Kathuria, a journalism graduate, photographer, and award-winning filmmaker, the session delved into the intricacies of capturing moments, the technical aspects of videography, and the art of visual storytelling. He not only guided students on how to compose a frame but also inspired them to see beauty in the ordinary, tell stories without words, and pour truth into every shot. The immersive and intellectually stimulating workshop concluded with a surge of creativity, leaving the young media enthusiasts with valuable insights and memorable learning experiences.

Shalom Presidency School conducted an Anti-Bullying Rally on Monday, 29th September 2025, across all four floors of the school building. The rally was led by the Anti-Bullying Squad members, with active participation and support from Grade V students. The initiative focused on instilling the values of respect, kindness, and inclusion, reinforcing the message that our school stands firmly against bullying in any form.

It was her encouragement towards holistic learning beyond academics that transformed Dandiya Night into a grand festive extravaganza.

Providing impeccable guidance and support, our Sherpa & Vice Chairman, Mr. Dennis George, ensured that every element of the celebration—from décor to safety to seamless arrangements—reflected excellence. His dedication to creating memorable experiences for our Shalom community played a pivotal role in bringing families together on this special evening.

On 27 th September 2025, the school campus shimmered with colours as parents, students, and staff came together to celebrate Dandiya Night with immense enthusiasm. The evening featured an electrifying live performance by Adresh Pandey, setting the perfect rhythm for energetic Garba and Dandiya rounds. Vibrant traditional attire, coordinated group dances, and joyful cheers lit up the ground, creating an atmosphere of pure festivity.

Adding to the excitement were mouth-watering food stalls, engaging games, and fun-filled activities for all age groups. Parents and students danced their hearts out, celebrating not just tradition but also togetherness.

Shalom Presidency School, in collaboration with High School Moms, conducted an Individual Counselling Session for Grade IX students on Saturday, 27th September 2025. The session aimed to provide students with deeper clarity on subject selection, career pathways, and higher education opportunities, enabling them to make well-informed academic decisions at an early stage.
