An impactful Anti-Bullying Awareness Presentation titled “Awaaz: Raise It Right” was conducted by the members of the Anti-Bullying Squad on Wednesday, 30th July 2025 in the school Campus. The initiative aimed to sensitize students to the seriousness of bullying and emphasise the importance of raising one’s voice against it.
A major highlight of the programme was a powerful Nukkad-Natak performed by the squad members, portraying different forms of bullying and their emotional consequences. The play effectively conveyed the message of standing up against injustice with empathy, unity, and courage. This was followed by the formal introduction and welcome of the Anti-Bullying Squad, a team committed to fostering a safe and respectful school environment.
This meaningful initiative was inspired by the vision of our Sherpa & Vice Chairman – Mr. Dennis George, whose unwavering commitment to student well-being led to the formation of the Anti-Bullying Squad. His continued support empowers students to take ownership of building a compassionate, bully-free school culture.
The session concluded with a collective pledge to “Raise It Right” and to always speak up against bullying.
At Shalom, every opportunity is a stepping stone to growth, and this one was truly special. We express our heartfelt gratitude to our Founder, Dr. (Mrs.) Lilly George, whose vision and commitment to global exposure brought this enriching experience to life. We also extend our sincere appreciation to our Sherpa, and Vice Chairman, Mr. Dennis George, whose constant encouragement and insightful guidance continue to provide our students with meaningful opportunities to excel and grow into confident global citizens.
