The installation ceremony of the Interact Club of ShalomPresidency school was held on 18thMay ,2023 in the school Conference Hall.The event was presided over by Rtn Arti Agarwal (President Rotary Club of Gurgaon Qutub Enclave). The eminent Rotarians Rtn Baljit S Ahluwalia (President Elect) RtnSunil Khanna (Director Youth Services Past President) RtnAnil Bhatnagar (Chairperson Blood Donation Camps) graced the occasion with their benign presence. The Principal of the school Ms. Sanjana Verman extended a warm welcome to all the guests.
The guests were apprised about the ethos of the school and how Shalomites are guided by the principles of their Founder&Chairperson Dr.Mrs Lilly George who herself is a great philanthropist and a renowned personality in the field of education as well as social causes. Following the tradition, the event commenced with Lord\'s prayer. It was followed by the formal welcome of the dignitaries with planters. Thereafter there was a presentation by the school choir. The young choristers mesmerised the audience with their exceptional performance. The team also showcased all the projects and community outreach programmes undertaken by the school during the session through a power point presentation. Rtn Arti Agarwal in her address encouraged the students to follow the motto of service above self and take part in the projects wholeheartedly.She alsoexplained about the organisation and the wide scope that it provides to the interactors around the world. She reiterated that it requires a lot of commitment from the young generation who have the passion to indulge in the cause of humanity.
The recognition certificate of organisation for the Interact Club of Shalom Presidency school sponsored by Rotary Club of Qutub Enclave Gurgaon Haryana, India was presented to the Principal by the President of Club, Rtn. Arti Agarwal with all the other dignitaries.
The motivating words by all the eminent Rotarians were well received by the team. They proudly participated in the pinning of the badge ceremony wherein they were entrusted with different responsibilities as the core team. The pledge was administered by the President Rtn Arti Agarwal. The newly elected President and Vice President of the Shalom Presidency Interact Club expressed their gratitude for the opportunity. They also ensured their commitment towards the responsibility bestowed upon them. The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks followed by National Anthem.
