Students were briefed and given demonstrations of making their own satellite model in the exclusive skill sessions. After a thorough understanding of the concepts,students completed their 3D model using thermocol, glitter sheet, paper cups, scissors etc. with the help of their respective group members.
After completing their models , students revised the concepts of satellite by watching videos regarding the launch of the satellites. Students also witnessed videos of MOM (Mars Orbital Mission ) and Chandrayaan 3 journey. Both missions were explored and their successes were discussed with the analysis of their case studies.
Learning new ideas and applying the concepts into practical applications gave students the key insights into the technical aspects of various processes of satellite making exercise.
