On May 14, 2024, Shalom Presidency School embraced nostalgia with a retro-themed Mother's Day celebration. The event opened with a touching PowerPoint presentation of mothers and babies, capturing the essence of maternal love. The Shalom team warmly welcomed everyone, highlighting the day's significance, followed by serene prayer for all mothers. Our Founder, and Chairperson, Dr Mrs. Lilly George, lovingly called as MD ma'am, lit the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing maternal love and guidance. She praised mothers dedication, celebrated student achievements, and inspired all to strive for excellence. The celebration featured delightful cultural performances, including a welcome song by UKG A and B, a lively dance by Grade 1, and a graceful dance by the teachers. Interactive games and a retro-themed ramp walk added excitement. The event concluded with a joyful group dance, uniting mothers and teachers. Attendees applauded MD Ma'am efforts in creating a memorable and unifying celebration. Light refreshments allowed for mingling, further enhancing the community spirit at Shalom Presidency School.
