Shalom Presidency School is dedicated to fostering curiosity and intellectual growth among its students. In line with this mission, a three-phase Quiz Competition was organized on 19th July 2024 for students in Grades 6-8. The primary goal was to enhance their knowledge and appreciation of India\'s culture, heritage, and achievements.
The competition consisted of three rounds, starting with a preliminary pen-and-paper round that assessed general awareness about India. Top scorers from each house and class advanced to the second round, which focused on current affairs related to India
The final round featured four teams, each representing a different dynasty (Ebony, Cedar, Maple, and Oak), with three students from each grade level (VI, VII, and VIII). This round comprised four stages: Pehla Vaar, Akkad Bakkad, Aar ya Paar, and Akhri Vaar.
The event also included folk songs and advertisements prepared by students, which added to the energetic atmosphere. The quiz proved to be an enriching experience for both participants and spectators, showcasing the teams\' spirited participation and dedication to learning.
