On 20th August 2024, Shalom Presidency School hosted an informative workshop on e-waste management, conducted by Ecoverva E-Waste Recycle, a leading electronic waste recycling company. The event focused on raising awareness about the growing issue of e-waste and the importance of responsible disposal and recycling of electronic devices.

Ecoverva representatives explained their processes for collecting, disassembling, and recovering valuable materials from discarded electronics like computers and smartphones. They also highlighted the environmental and economic benefits of catalytic converter recycling and auto dismantling. Students and staff learned about the significant impact of e-waste on the environment and how Ecoverva’s sustainable practices help mitigate this problem.

The workshop concluded with a Q&A session, encouraging active participation from students, who left with a better understanding of how they can contribute to e-waste management in their daily lives.
