The students of Shalom Presidency School, Gurugram, participated in Cyber Buzz 2024 – Inter-School Events, hosted by Amity International School, Sector-43, Gurugram. This dynamic event provided a vibrant platform for young minds to showcase their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through various challenges. Representing Shalom in the high-stakes competition \'Trial by Combat\' was Arman Kapoor from Grade XI-C. The contest was a rigorous test of wit and articulation, emphasizing extempore speaking and group discussions. Arman successfully cleared the qualifier round on 9th October 2024, earning a coveted spot in the offline rounds on 15th October.

The first offline round featured 10 participating schools and challenged students with an extempore task, where Arman’s sharp thinking and confident delivery propelled him to the final stage. In the second and final round, a group discussion among six schools tested participants\' ability to think critically and collaborate effectively. Arman stood out with his insightful arguments and engaging contributions, securing a Consolation Prize for his efforts. This enriching experience not only honed Arman’s debating and communication skills but also reflected the spirit of Shalom’s motto—Aspire, Achieve, Ascend. We are immensely proud of Arman’s performance and look forward to scaling new heights in future competitions.
