On December 23rd and 24th, 2024, students from Grades VI and IX, along with volunteers from the Shalom Presidency Interact Club, embarked on a meaningful journey to two NGOs—Ram Kala Sadan in Sector 52, Gurugram, and Sudha Foundation in Sector 49. The initiative aimed to share joy and spread the festive spirit of Christmas through generous donations of clothes, toys, and stationery, contributed by the school’s students, teachers, and staff.
The visit was a profoundly moving experience for everyone involved. Students engaged with the beneficiaries, gaining a deeper understanding of their contributions' positive impact. The NGO representatives shared their missions and ongoing efforts to uplift underprivileged children, inspiring the young visitors with their dedication and compassion.
The Joy of Sharing drive exemplified the essence of the Christmas season, bringing together the Shalom Presidency community to support those in need. This initiative not only strengthened the values of kindness, empathy, and social responsibility but also left a lasting impression on students, empowering them with the knowledge that even small acts of giving can make a significant difference. The collection drive and NGO visit were defining moments, reminding everyone that the true spirit of Christmas lies in sharing and caring.
