The Shalom Group of Schools hosted its Annual Sports Meet, Aikyam 2.0, on the school grounds on December 14, 2024. This grand event celebrated athletic excellence, resilience, and camaraderie, filling the atmosphere with vibrant energy and the shared enthusiasm of students, mentors, and parents.
The occasion was graced by the inspiring presence of our Founder and Chairperson, Dr. Mrs. Lilly George, and Sherpa & Vice Chairman- Mr. Dennis George, whose leadership and vision imbued the day with a sense of pride and purpose.
The day began with the Torch Relay, symbolizing courage and perseverance, igniting the aspirations of the athletes. The March Past, led by the four dynasties—Cedar, Ebony, Maple, and Oak— The event was further enriched by the stirring beats of the SSB Band, a high-energy Zumba performance, and a serene Yoga presentation, each showcasing a unique blend of grace, passion, and determination. On the tracks and fields, athletes displayed remarkable grit as they pushed their limits to achieve personal milestones. The flag hoisting and release of balloons became poignant symbols of collective dreams taking flight.exemplified discipline, unity, and a spirit of collaboration.
As the day culminated with accolades honouring extraordinary effort and achievement, Aikyam 2.0 emerged as a powerful testament to the unity and indomitable spirit of the Shalom family. It was a day of dreaming big, striving hard, and triumphing together in this unforgettable celebration of sportsmanship and togetherness.
