JUNIOR AIKYAM - The Annual Sports Meet 2.0 was a spectacular display of athleticism, teamwork, and unyielding spirit at Shalom Presidency School. The event, guided by the visionary leadership of Founder & Chairperson, Dr. Mrs. Lilly George, and the dynamic vision of Our Sherpa & Vice Chairman-Mr. Dennis George, embodied the perfect blend of tradition and progress. The day commenced with a grand welcome for Mr. Dennis George, followed by a soulful prayer and shloka recital. The school choir from Grades 3 and 4 set a melodious tone, leading to the ceremonial torch relay and the proud hoisting of the school flag. The synchronized March Past and an awe-inspiring display by Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) enthralled the audience, while the oath-taking ceremony reinforced values of integrity and fair play.
Excitement soared as track events for Grades 1 and 2 started off with Clean the Yard, Obstacle Race, Shuttle Run, and Bounce & Bound, leading to 96 young champions being honoured. A Rhythmic Yoga performance by Grades 3 and 4 added elegances, followed by the Sprint, Hurdle, and Relay Races, crowning 60 new champions. The Parents' Athletic Meet brought fun-filled competitions, strengthening the bond of sportsmanship. The event concluded with the Prize Distribution Ceremony, honouring Best Athletes, Best March Past, and the Overall Champion House. Principal Ma’am’s heartfelt vote of thanks left behind a lasting message—true champions rise with every challenge.
