Shalom Presidency School seniors showcased an extraordinary blend of intellect, collaboration, and creativity at the World Scholar’s Cup – Gurugram Round held at Pathways School, Baliawas.

Senior Teams: Among over 700 students from 233 teams, six teams comprising 18 students represented Shalom Presidency with unmatched zeal and academic finesse.

The highlight of the event was Team 625 – Aditi Mehta, Anant Choubey, and Kushagra Gupta – who emerged as the No. 1 team overall, securing the First Place Trophy out of 233 participating teams. The trio also qualified for the Global Round, bringing immense pride to the school.

The Shalomites brought home an impressive haul of gold and silver medals in Team Debates, Team Bowl, Team Challenge, Collaborative Writing, Scholar’s Challenge, and Individual Debates. Individual distinctions included:

• Gold medals to students like Aditi Mehta, Kushagra Gupta, Anwesha Hota, Shikhar Arora, and others across multiple categories.
• Champion Scholar Awards, Asimov Award, and Subject Excellence medals in History, Literature, Art, and Science.
• Top individual ranks: Kushagra Gupta (Rank 2) and Aditi Mehta (Rank 3).

Junior Teams: Representing the school with pride and passion, 30 students across 10 teams showcased their brilliance in multiple categories- Team Debate, Collaborative Writing, Scholar’s Challenge, Scholar’s Bowl, and individual events. Their performance was nothing short of stellar, bringing home a spectacular haul of gold and silver medals across disciplines.

Highlights of the Achievement:

• Gold medals in Team Debates, Individual Debates, Team Bowl, Individual Challenges, and Collaborative Writing.
• Multiple Silver medals across all categories, including the prestigious Asimov Award and Champion Scholar distinctions.
• Team 822 (Prarthna Kapoor, Bankebihari Srivastava, and Armaan Kapoor) not only clinched top medals across categories but also emerged as Global Qualifiers, securing Rank 11 - a testament to their all-around excellence.
