With the blessings of our Founder, Dr. Mrs. Lilly George, Shalom Presidency had the privilege of hosting a delegation of 24 members from Google offices worldwide on Friday, September 26, 2025.
Under the esteemed leadership of our Sherpa & Vice Chairman-Mr Dennis George, the visit focused on exploring the shift from traditional schooling to student-centric, technology-integrated classrooms, understanding the current educational framework, and envisioning strategies for personalised learning.
The day began with a traditional Shalom welcome by students, followed by a meet-and-greet session with faculty from all academic streams. A demonstration lesson showcased Shalom’s innovative teaching approach, combining technology, hands-on activities, and real-life applications, earning appreciation from the Google team.
Discussions highlighted differentiated learning, especially for the “unseen middle” – students whose potential often goes unnoticed. Even small improvements in learning are celebrated, reflecting Shalom’s commitment to nurturing every learner.
Students impressed the delegation with their use of AI tools like Notebook LM, Google Scholar, and AI in Chrome, sharing insights on AI’s role in exam preparation and critically evaluating its benefits and challenges. The visit also included lighter interactions, leaving memorable impressions of Shalom’s vibrant learning culture.
The day concluded with a tour of the Ingenium Lab, where students demonstrated future-ready projects and innovations, reinforcing the school’s focus on creativity, problem-solving, and forward-thinking learning.
