Shalom Presidency School organised an E-Waste Awareness Session for the students of Grades IV and V, conducted by Eco Verma, to sensitise young learners towards responsible electronic waste management. The session introduced students to the concept of e-waste, its growing presence in daily life, and its harmful impact on the environment and human health if not disposed of properly.
Through engaging discussions and age-appropriate examples, students were made aware of the importance of the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. The interactive nature of the session encouraged active participation and helped students connect environmental responsibility with their everyday habits.
The session successfully instilled eco-friendly values and reinforced the school’s commitment to sustainability and environmental consciousness. The resource person was felicitated by Ms Sonali Rawat for her valuable contribution.
