Shalom Presidency School organised a heartfelt Farewell Ceremony for the outgoing Grade XII batch on 29 December 2025. Thoughtfully planned and executed by the students of Grade XI under the guidance of teachers, the event celebrated the seniors’ academic journey, achievements, and treasured memories at school.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome of the Grade XII students on the first floor, where refreshments were arranged. This was followed by a Behind-the-Scenes video screening in the auditorium, setting an emotional and celebratory tone. The formal proceedings began with a prayer and a compering.
The ceremony featured a series of vibrant cultural performances, including energetic dance presentations, musical concerts, and special collaborative acts by students of Grades XI and XII. The performances reflected creativity, gratitude, and the strong bond shared by the school community.
Speeches by student leaders, alumni, and representatives of the outgoing batch were moments of deep reflection and appreciation. All speakers expressed heartfelt gratitude to our respected Founder, Dr Mrs Lilly George ma’am, for her unwavering love, care, and for laying the foundation of such a nurturing and value-driven institution. They also acknowledged our Sherpa & Vice Chairman, Mr Dennis George, for his pastoral care, steady leadership, and constant guidance that continues to inspire the school fraternity.
As part of the felicitation, mementoes were presented to Grade XII Sections A, B, and C. A teacher’s video titled “Endless Memories, Timeless Bond” added warmth and emotion to the occasion. The ramp walk, alumni messages, and interaction segments further enhanced the celebratory spirit.
Addressing the gathering, our Principal ma’am congratulated the outgoing batch and announced the titles of Mr and Ms Presidency and Mr and Ms Well Dressed. The event concluded with a journey highlights video, cake cutting, followed by a luncheon and DJ session.
