Shalom Presidency School organised the French and Sanskrit Open House – La Belle Vie on 23 December 2025, presented by the students of Grade VII, celebrating the richness of language, culture, and creativity.
The programme commenced with a soulful prayer and shloka, followed by the Ādhyātmik Udghāṭan, which set a serene and positive tone for the event. A well-articulated Bilingual Speech highlighted the significance of learning French and Sanskrit in today’s global yet value-driven world. Energetic songs and graceful dance performances added vibrancy and cultural flavour to the programme.
Students delivered a compelling Skit on the French Revolution, followed by an engaging Vlog presentation. A lively Tongue Twister Activity involving parents added an element of fun and interaction. The Panchatantra Act effectively conveyed moral values, while the Panel Discussion reflected students’ confidence, articulation, and critical thinking skills.
The programme concluded with the Défilé des Personnages and a colourful Fashion Show, beautifully portraying Indo-French culture, followed by an Exhibition on Indo-French Heritage, where students explained monuments of India and France in both French and English. The Open House was a grand success, widely appreciated by parents and enjoyed by all present.
