Shalom Presidency School organised a special morning assembly on the theme of Basant Panchami, presented by the students of Grade I on Thursday, 29th January 2026. The assembly began with a soulful prayer, creating a calm and positive ambience. This was followed by the News Bulletin and the Thought for the Day, encouraging students to embrace positivity and wisdom in their daily lives.

The highlight of the assembly was the celebration of Basant Panchmi, symbolising the arrival of spring. The young presenters confidently explained the significance of the festival and its relevance in contemporary times, thoughtfully touching upon its cultural and mythological importance. Their confident expressions and clear articulation made the presentation both engaging and informative.

The programme concluded with a lively dance performance that beautifully reflected the joy and vibrancy of the spring season. The assembly ended with an address by the teacher, highlighting the importance of celebrating Republic Day and nurturing responsible citizenship, followed by the School Anthem and the National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired and proud.
