Shalom Presidency School organised an educational trip to the National Science Centre in New Delhi on 4 February 2026 for Grade VII students. A total of 63 students, accompanied by teachers and support staff, enthusiastically participated in the visit. The objective of the trip was to enrich classroom learning through interactive, experiential exposure to scientific concepts.
During the visit, students explored multiple galleries related to Science, Mathematics, History, and Geography. The working models and hands-on exhibits effectively demonstrated complex concepts such as momentum, density, reflex action, magnetic fields, and the structure of DNA in a simplified and engaging manner. Key attractions, including the Ancient Indian Chemical Laboratory, Cotton Textile Gallery, Mirror Maze, Cockpit Simulator, and the Nine Pillars of Digital India, generated keen interest among the students. The visit fostered curiosity, encouraged inquiry-based learning, and helped students relate theoretical knowledge to real-life applications, making the experience both enriching and memorable.
