Shalom Presidency School actively participated in the CBSE Science Challenge 2025–26, an initiative aimed at fostering scientific temper, environmental awareness, and sustainable thinking among students of Classes VIII to X. The challenge was conducted in two stages.
In Round One (School Level), students were registered on the Science Challenge Portal between 11 and 17 April 2025. An MCQ-based assessment was conducted from 21 to 25 April 2025, following which six students—two each from Classes VIII, IX, and X—were shortlisted for the next round.
Round Two (Inter-School Level) was a computer-based challenge conducted by CBSE between 5 and 9 May 2025. Demonstrating commendable scientific aptitude, two students, Bankebihari Srivastava of Grade IX and Aditi Mehta of Grade X, were awarded online certificates for their participation.
The initiative encouraged inquiry-based learning and reinforced the importance of science in addressing real-world environmental and sustainability challenges.
