Shalom Presidency School organised the Grand Spellathon Competition for students of Grades III, IV, and V on 13 February 2026 to enhance vocabulary, spelling accuracy, and self-confidence among young learners.
The competition featured well-structured rounds including oral spelling, rapid-fire challenges, and impromptu segments that assessed students’ pronunciation, memory, presence of mind, and composure. Participants demonstrated excellent preparation, clarity of speech, and remarkable confidence, making the event intellectually stimulating and engaging.
The event concluded with the felicitation of the achievers. In Grade III, Ronav secured the first position, followed by Rehaan and Avinaba in the second position, while Yatharth earned the third position. In Grade IV, Neil emerged as the winner, with Ria securing the second position and Vedaansh finishing third. In Grade V, Avyaya clinched the first position, Vahin and Samarth shared the second position, and Vihaan secured the third position.
The Grand Spellathon 2026 proved to be an enriching and rewarding experience, reinforcing the importance of linguistic mastery, healthy competition, and a lifelong love for learning.
