On the occasion of National Science Day, five students from the school visited the Regional Centre for Biotechnology to broaden their scientific exposure and understanding of modern research practices.

During the visit, students explored several international-standard exhibits, innovative scientific models, and research-based projects that highlighted advancements in biotechnology. They enthusiastically participated in interactive science games, making the learning experience both engaging and enjoyable.

One of the most fascinating highlights of the visit was a live demonstration illustrating how muscle cells can be formed from blood cells. This helped students better understand the concepts of cell differentiation and regenerative science. They were also introduced to fingerprint scanning technology and learned how biometric identification is used in scientific and security applications.

The students further explored the concept of biofilm formation and its relevance in medical and environmental studies. In addition, they gained insights into how scientific data is collected, stored, and securely managed nationwide to support research and innovation.

The visit proved to be highly enriching, fostering curiosity, analytical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for real-world scientific applications.
