Shalom Presidency School organised an enriching educational excursion to Udaipur and Chittorgarh, offering students a valuable opportunity to experience history, culture, and learning beyond the classroom. At the City Palace Museum in Udaipur, students explored magnificent royal galleries displaying ancient weapons, armour, paintings, and artefacts. The visit helped them understand the glorious legacy of Maharana Pratap and the inspiring story of his loyal horse Chetak, bringing the pages of history to life
The journey continued to the majestic Chittorgarh Fort, where students visited iconic sites such as Vijay Stambh, Padmini Palace, Kumbha Palace, and several ancient temples and Jain complexes. A professional guide shared captivating stories of bravery, sacrifice, and Rajput pride, enriching the students’ understanding of India’s historical heritage.
Students also visited the Maharana Pratap Museum and the revered Eklingji Temple, which further deepened their appreciation for the region’s cultural and spiritual traditions.
