National Mathematics Day is celebrated on 22 December every year to mark the birth anniversary of the legendary Indian mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan. In his short lifespan, Srinivasa Ramanujan made innumerable contributions to various aspects of mathematics. 

To celebrate this day in school, the teachers of grades I & 2 apprised the children about the life and contributions of the famous mathematician. Children were engaged in a number of fun activities related to Math like Multiplication Tree, Division activity, Making beautiful Lotus flower(shapes activity) using origami sheet which they enjoyed thoroughly.
