On 1st October 2024, Shalom Presidency School celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with two powerful assemblies that reflected the core values of non-violence and cleanliness.

Students from grade VI and grade IX led the day's proceedings, offering a heartfelt tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and emphasizing the importance of living a life rooted in peace, respect, and hygiene. Through a blend of reflective presentations, the assemblies highlighted the enduring relevance of Gandhi Ji’s teachings and the crucial role cleanliness plays in both physical and mental well-being.

The assemblies not only commemorated the legacy of Gandhi Ji, the "Father of the Nation" but also inspired students to internalise his values in their daily lives.

The program concluded with the reaffirmation of the school’s commitment to Gandhian values and a pledge to maintain cleanliness, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of purpose and inspiration.
