The “Trash to Trendy and Treasure” Fashion Show, held on 6th July 2026, was a vibrant celebration of creativity, sustainability, and self-expression. Organised by the enthusiastic students of Grade1 & 2 as part of Van Mahotsav, the event provided a meaningful platform for children to showcase their imagination and concern for the environment by designing and presenting outfits and waste out of waste products made entirely from recycled materials.

Using items such as plastic bottles, cardboard, fabric scraps, and newspapers, the students turned everyday waste into stylish, eco-friendly attire and products . With joy and confidence, they walked the ramp, proudly presenting their creations to an encouraging audience.

The event beautifully blended fashion with environmental awareness, highlighting the importance of reusing and recycling. It was a successful and inspiring celebration that nurtured creativity, boosted confidence, and deepened the students’ appreciation for nature and sustainability.
