The Galaxy Wing of Shalom Presidency School celebrated Janmashtami and Teachers’ Day through a special Show & Tell activity on 3.09.2026, “From Krishna’s Wisdom to Our Teachers’ Guidance,” with our young learners from Pre-Nursery to UKG.

Through their presentations, children shared their understanding of Lord Krishna’s teachings and values while expressing their love and gratitude towards their teachers.

Adding a meaningful dimension to the celebration, the teachers beautifully enacted a scene from Krishna’s childhood depicting the Yamuna and Kaliya Nag. The enactment was thoughtfully connected with SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation, highlighting the message of “Save Rivers, Save Water” and helping children reflect on the changing condition of the Yamuna today.

The celebration was a joyful and enriching learning experience, beautifully integrating culture, values, environmental awareness and gratitude.
