The day was observed in the school to raise awareness about the significance of mental wellness and to motivate the children to support mental health and fight
the stigma still associated with it. The morning began with a mindfulness meditation session for classes 11 and 12. This helps increase awareness of one's
own thoughts and boost levels of concentration. The counsellor, Ms Monika Dhingra addressed the students on mental health issues and what students can
do to promote mental health. Some myths and facts associated with mental health were discussed. The students were encouraged to think of new ideas to help change society and promote sensitivity towards the critical issues of mental health.
