Diwali is a festival of joy and prosperity, and the celebration of victory of goodover evil. Shalom Presidency School organized a special Diwali Fiesta for thestudents on 20 October 2022. Our tiny tots dressed up in traditional attire,enjoyed the activities and food. Keeping the festive spirit alive, the studentsof Grade 1 B conducted a special assembly on ‘Diwali’. Daily prayer providespositive reinforcement and love. The assembly commenced with the prayer andshloka. This was followed by the students apprising everyone about thesignificance of this festival. Children dressed up in traditional attire presented‘Laghu Ramayana’ on the stage. The assembly culminated with the school anthemand National Anthem.All the students of grade 1 & 2 participated in Toran making activity in theirrespective classes. They also enacted their favourite character from Ramayana.
Everyone pledged to celebrate Diwali in a safe and green way.
