A Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom was conducted on 27th December 2025 in the Conference Hall for the teaching staff. The programme commenced with a prayer and a formal welcome, followed by the introduction of the resource persons, Ms Harleen Kaur and Ms Shivani Sukhija, who set the tone for an engaging and enriching session.
The CBP aimed at developing a clear understanding of Artificial Intelligence, its meaning, advantages, limitations, and the ethical responsibilities associated with its use in education. The session highlighted how AI can enhance teaching-learning practices while safeguarding academic integrity and learner well-being.
Teachers were familiarised with various AI-based tools such as Slido, ChatGPT, InVideo, Speechma, Gamma.ai, Ask Your PDF, and Google Labs. Emphasis was laid on effective prompting, interactive engagement, and data privacy, enabling educators to explore AI for lesson planning, assessments, content creation, and presentations.
The programme concluded on a positive and forward-looking note, empowering teachers to integrate AI meaningfully and responsibly in classroom practices.
