Shalom Presidency School successfully organised a Parents’ Cricket Friendly Match for the Galaxy Wing parents (Pre-Nursery, Nursery, LKG, and UKG), fostering camaraderie, sportsmanship, and community bonding.
The players were divided into two teams – Power Hitters and Swing Kings, and the match was played in a 20-over format.
Team Swing Kings won the toss and elected to bat first, delivering a remarkable performance by posting a strong total of 197 runs in 20 overs. In response, Team Power Hitters put up a spirited effort but were bowled out for 123 runs in 18 overs. Team Swing Kings emerged victorious with a convincing win.

The event was conducted successfully and created a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. It provided an excellent platform for parents to interact, unwind, and strengthen their connection with the school community while celebrating the true spirit of sportsmanship.
The school conducted a comprehensive Orientation Session for both new and existing parents to mark the beginning of the new academic session. The session aimed to build a strong partnership between the school and parents by familiarising them with the institution’s vision, practices, and expectations.
During the session for new parents, they were introduced to the rich legacy and vision of the Founder, Dr Mrs. Lilly George, and the inspiring leadership of our Sherpa & Vice Chairman – Mr Dennis George. Parents were also apprised of the school’s key initiatives that promote holistic development, along with the numerous awards and recognitions earned by the institution through the dedicated efforts of its faculty and students.
The school’s emphasis on experiential learning, co-curricular engagements, and various events conducted throughout the year was highlighted. Detailed information regarding academic processes, including Periodic Assessments, evaluation patterns, and curriculum structure, was shared to ensure clarity and transparency.
Parents were further guided about uniform norms, transportation facilities, and operational procedures to facilitate a smooth school experience. A separate session for existing parents focused on the transition to middle school, CBSE-aligned academic changes, and evolving expectations. The orientation proved to be highly informative, strengthening the bond between parents and the school while reaffirming the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.

An exciting football match was organised as part of the Parents’ Friendly Games, bringing together enthusiastic parent participants for a spirited sporting encounter. 16 players were present and were divided into two teams of eight players each — Team Alpha (Orange) and Team Beta (Neon Green). Played in a 15 + 15-minute format, both teams demonstrated great energy, teamwork, and determination. Team Alpha displayed strong attacking coordination, while Team Beta responded with disciplined defending and quick counterattacks. Despite several scoring opportunities, neither side managed to score during regular time, leading the match into extra time.
The decisive moment came when Mr. Venu Gopal scored the winning goal, securing a 1–0 victory for Team Alpha. For his outstanding performance, he was awarded the Man of the Match. Ms. Sumesha Ma’am received the Consistent Athlete Award for her dedication and steady performance across all the Parents’ Friendly Games.
Team Beta also showcased commendable teamwork and resilience, making the match an engaging and competitive contest that reflected the true spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie.

Shalom Presidency School successfully organised the Moms' Aqua Carnival – Fun, Fitness & Challenge on 18 July 2026 for the mothers of students from Galaxy Wing to Grade II at the school's Indoor Swimming Pool. The event was designed to promote fitness, recreation, and meaningful parent engagement through a series of exciting water-based activities.
The carnival witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 23 mothers, who reported for an energetic morning of fun. The morning began with an invigorating Aqua Zumba session, followed by a range of engaging team challenges, including the Underwater Tug-of-War, Pool Relay Race, and Pass the Ball Challenge. The activities encouraged teamwork, healthy competition, and physical fitness while creating moments of laughter, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories.
The carnival was marked by high energy, enthusiastic participation, and an overwhelming spirit of sportsmanship. Beyond the excitement, the event successfully reinforced the importance of health, wellness, and strengthening the bond between the school and its parent community.
The Moms' Aqua Carnival concluded on a joyful note, with participants expressing their appreciation for the unique initiative.

The Galaxy Wing of Shalom Presidency School celebrated Mother’s Day with immense enthusiasm and happiness on 9 May 2026 in the gracious presence of the Founder, Dr Mrs. Lilly George, and Director, Mrs. Karishma George. Their inspiring presence added warmth and encouragement to the celebration, making the occasion truly memorable for everyone present. The event was a heartfelt tribute to mothers and beautifully reflected the special bond shared between children and their mothers. The little stars of the Galaxy Wing captivated the audience with vibrant dance performances, melodious songs, and expressive presentations dedicated to their mothers. The confidence, innocence, and enthusiasm displayed by the children deeply touched the mother's hearts, leaving many emotional and overwhelmed with pride and joy. To make the celebration even more special, a variety of fun-filled games and engaging activities were organised exclusively for the mothers. The enthusiastic participation of the mothers added excitement and laughter to the event, creating an atmosphere filled with love, bonding, and togetherness. The celebration concluded on a joyful note with sincere gratitude extended to all the mothers for their wholehearted participation and vibrant spirit, which made the event truly meaningful and unforgettable. 45 mothers actively participated, bringing energy and enthusiasm to the event. The session featured engaging activities such as Aqua Zumba, Aqua Yoga, and an exciting Underwater Tug of War, creating a perfect blend of fitness and fun.

I would like to share my experience with the best school in Gurgaon. Our journey started with Shalom Nirvana where my son Shresth taken admission for nursery. During Covid we shifted to Dwarka Expressway which was quite far from Shalom so we shifted him to other school but somehow we were not satisfied as we have raised Shalom's way of teaching, interaction with kids and the commitment of teacher and school towards the child .This has compelled us to take a decision to join back with Shalom family.Though it was quite far from our home but for our son this is the best school vehicle we have ever thought. It's been a year now he is with Shalom School has groomed him a lot,he is full of confidence and energy to face day to day life.
With heavy heart we are leaving school again as we got transferred to Wipro Lucknow.We tried searching school there to match the standard but trust me,we did not find any other school like Shalom. As the life goes on we have to settle with some other option. As a parent we will really miss Shalom family. In future if we ever come back to Gurgaon we will definitely without any doubt we will be the part of the Shalom family again.
Suggestion: Can we have a Shalom branch in Lucknow too.?

The kind of love and warmth we get from MD ma am is truly unbelievable. I am going to come back to Gurgaon and be a part of Shalom again. We would like to thank the school to make us proud of our kids today. They have been spending good time at school and never want to leave. Online classes run by Shalom Presidency school have given a relief to us as it prevented disruption in continuity of my daughter Adwitya’s study. It was running very smoothly and I am thankful to the teachers and coordinators who patiently adapt themselves to the new environment.
They could learn quickly the technology to connect to the students in a natural way and worked towards gaining the attention of the students even sitting far from them. Taking quick decision to embrace the challenge and facing it with bold steps is highly appreciated. My child enjoyed the whole session and I didn’t see any lack of focus due to changed scenario.
