Shalom Presidency School, Gurugram, organised an informative Road Safety Awareness Programme on 14 January 2026 in the school conference hall to sensitise staff and transport personnel about road safety, with special focus on the School Safety Zone. The session was conducted by the Station House Officer (SHO) and his team, who shared practical insights on traffic rules and responsible road behaviour.
Addressing the gathering comprising teachers, drivers, housekeeping staff and security personnel, Mr Girish Gupta emphasised discipline on roads and the shared responsibility of ensuring student safety. Various road safety signage, speed regulations, safe parking norms and pedestrian protocols were explained in detail.
An interactive segment enriched the session as participants, including a security guard, school driver, parent, traffic policeman and bus conductor, shared real-life experiences. Officials also highlighted the importance of emergency helpline applications such as 112 and 1033.
The programme concluded on an informative note, reinforcing a collective commitment towards safer roads and enhanced student security.
