Shalom Presidency School proudly hosted Shalom Harmonia MUN 2026, a prestigious two-day Model United Nations Conference on 10th and 11th July 2026, bringing together 432 student delegates for an immersive experience in diplomacy, leadership, and global collaboration. The conference welcomed 385 delegates from the Shalom Group of Schools and 47 delegates from renowned institutions, including Lotus Valley International School, Heritage Xperiential Learning School, Blue Bells School, DAV Public School (Sector 14), Vasant Valley School, Shiv Nadar School, and Pathways School.

The conference commenced with a grand Opening Ceremony graced by Honourable Sherpa & Vice Chairman, Mr. Dennis George, Brigadier Jagmohan Verma, SM, VSM (Veteran), Ms. Geetika Batra, and Ms. Latha Sundaram Varghese. The ceremony featured a solemn prayer, the traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony, a captivating cultural performance, a Behind-the-Scenes Harmonia video montage, and a Secretariat presentation showcasing months of dedicated planning. In their inspiring addresses, the dignitaries encouraged delegates to embrace integrity, empathy, meaningful dialogue, and responsible leadership.

The conference was officially declared open by Director General, Nandani Dalal, followed by committee guidelines delivered by Deputy Secretary General, Achintya Gupta. Over two days, delegates engaged in rigorous debates, negotiations, and resolution drafting across 13 committees, including the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), United Nations Security Council (UNSC), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and ten other specialised committees addressing contemporary global issues.

Throughout the conference, participants demonstrated exemplary research, public speaking, critical thinking, diplomacy, and negotiation skills while deliberating on pressing international challenges. The event provided a dynamic platform for nurturing leadership, promoting international understanding, and empowering students to become informed and responsible global citizens.

The resounding success of Shalom Harmonia MUN 2026 was further strengthened by the generous support of over 14 sponsors and partners, including Toyota MGF, Taco Bell, and KFC, whose contributions helped make the conference a memorable and enriching experience for all.

The conference culminated in a grand Awards and Results Ceremony, graced by Sherpa & Vice-Chairman, Mr. Dennis George.
