Shalom Presidency School, in collaboration with iDreamCareer (iDC),
organised a Career Guidance Programme for Class X students from 20th to 24th
July 2026, helping them make informed decisions about their academic streams
and future careers.
The programme began with a Career Orientation Workshop led by Ms Manju
Panwar, who highlighted the importance of career planning and introduced
students to the iDC Dashboard, a platform offering career exploration resources
and continued counselling support.
Students also completed an Aptitude, Personality, and Interest (API)
Assessment, enabling counsellors to identify their strengths, interests, and
aptitudes for personalised guidance.
A Career Awareness Workshop on 21st July familiarised students with the
academic streams available after Class X, associated career opportunities,
higher education pathways, and relevant competitive examinations.
The programme concluded with Individual Parent–Student Counselling
Sessions from 22nd to 24th July, where four iDC counsellors met each family for
personalised 30-minute sessions. Based on the assessment reports, students and
parents received expert guidance on stream selection, career options, and
future academic planning.
The initiative provided students with greater clarity and confidence in
planning their futures while strengthening the partnership between the school,
parents, and iDreamCareer in supporting every learner's aspiration.
