Senior and junior scholars from Shalom Presidency School delivered a stellar performance at the World Scholar’s Cup – Gurugram Round, held at Pathways School, Baliawas. Competing among over 700 students from 233 teams, our Shalomites showcased an exceptional blend of intellect, teamwork, and creativity, bringing laurels to the school.
Senior Division Excellence
Six senior teams comprising 18 students represented the school with unmatched zeal. The undisputed highlight was Team 625 — Aditi Mehta, Anant Choubey, and Kushagra Gupta — who emerged as the No. 1 team overall, securing First Place among 233 teams and qualifying for the Global Round.
Their achievements included:
Gold & Silver medals in Team Debates, Team Bowl, Team Challenge, Collaborative Writing, Scholar’s Challenge, and Individual Debates.
Champion Scholar Awards, Asimov Award, and Subject Excellence in History, Literature, Art, and Science.
Top Individual Ranks: Kushagra Gupta – Rank 2, Aditi Mehta – Rank 3.
Junior Division Achievements
Representing with equal passion, 10 junior teams (30 students) excelled across all categories — Team Debate, Collaborative Writing, Scholar’s Challenge, Scholar’s Bowl, and individual events.
Key highlights included:
Gold medals in Team Debates, Individual Debates, Team Bowl, Individual Challenges, and Collaborative Writing.
Multiple silver medals across disciplines, alongside Asimov Awards and Champion Scholar titles.
Team 822 (Prarthna Kapoor, Bankebihari Srivastava, and Armaan Kapoor) ranked 11th overall and qualified for the Global Round.
