Shalom Presidency School commemorated Earth Day on 22 April 2026 with great zeal, fostering a deep sense of environmental responsibility among students through engaging and experiential learning activities.
Students of Grade 3 enthusiastically participated in making seed bombs, understanding how small efforts can contribute to enhancing greenery and maintaining ecological balance. Grade 4 students explored the concept of sustainability by creating compost jars, gaining hands-on insight into effective waste management and the importance of recycling organic matter.
A specially curated Terrarium-Making Workshop provided students with an opportunity to design their own miniature ecosystems using plants, soil, and creative elements. This activity beautifully blended creativity with learning, reinforcing the idea of sustainable living.
Grade 5 students took part in an interactive workshop followed by a plantation drive, where they planted saplings and pledged to care for and protect the environment.
The celebration stood as a meaningful initiative, nurturing environmental consciousness and inspiring students to take small yet significant steps towards building a greener and more sustainable future.
