Shalom Presidency School commemorated Labour Day on 30 April 2026 with meaningful activities that reflected gratitude, respect, and inclusivity. Students from Grades I to VIII, along with the Galaxy Wing, actively participated in creating heartfelt gratitude cards, which were presented to the support staff as a token of appreciation.
A special assembly was conducted to highlight the dignity of labour. Students delivered a thoughtful speech and collectively took a pledge to respect and value every individual’s contribution. The Student Council members from Grades IX and X also played an active role in expressing gratitude and distributing appreciation tokens.
To make the day memorable, engaging activities such as a football match and Musical Chairs were organised for the support staff, creating moments of joy and celebration. Additionally, students from the Galaxy Wing distributed food items to guards and support staff, reinforcing the spirit of care and empathy.
The celebration served as a meaningful reminder of the invaluable contributions of every member of the school community, nurturing respect and gratitude among students.
