Shalom Presidency School solemnised the Investiture Ceremony 2026–27 with great pride and dignity, celebrating the spirit of leadership, responsibility, and commitment among students. The ceremony began on an auspicious note with the ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolising the dispelling of darkness and the beginning of a purposeful journey, followed by a serene prayer that set a reflective tone for the event.
The presence of Founder, Dr. Mrs. Lilly George, and our Sherpa & Vice Chairman, Mr. Dennis George, added immense inspiration to the occasion. Their constant guidance and nurturing vision continue to shape young leaders with strong values and a sense of purpose.
A key highlight of the ceremony was the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council. The march past showcased confidence and discipline, while the flag handover ceremony symbolised the seamless transfer of responsibilities from the outgoing council to the newly appointed leaders. The sash ceremony and oath-taking further reinforced their commitment to uphold the ethos of the institution with integrity and dedication.
The event was beautifully enriched with cultural presentations, including a mesmerising band performance, “Sapno Ki Symphony,” and a graceful dance presentation titled “Malhal – A Beginning,” both reflecting talents nurtured under the school’s vision.
The felicitation of school toppers celebrated academic excellence and perseverance, inspiring students to strive for higher achievements. The ceremony concluded with motivating words of wisdom from the leadership, followed by the Shalom Anthem, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of pride, responsibility, and belonging.
The Investiture Ceremony stood as a powerful reminder that leadership is not merely a position, but a promise to serve, inspire, and lead with courage and conviction.
